COST FP1006 Focused WG Meeting on the Round Robin test
(2nd call)

Objectives:
The purpose of the meeting is:
- to summarize up-to-data results of the Round Robin test (short term weathering)
- to discuss possibilities for numerical modeling of multisensory data as related to Round Robin test
- to exchange experiences as related to characterization of wood surface (methodologies, instrumentation and data mining)
- to prepare a draft of a common report (possibly publication)
A broad time for open-floor discussions and commenting is foreseen and expected after each session. The Meeting shall be an opportunity for networking and reinforcing future collaborations, including research project proposals.
The participation to the Focused Meeting is free of charge. However, each participant has to cover expenses related to lunch and dinner. An opportunity for experiencing economic and typical/local kitchen will be provided by organizers assuming prior confirmation.

Please follow www.ivalsa.cnr.it/en/about-us/ivalsa-institutes.html (SAN MICHELE ALL'ADIGE (TRENTO)) in order to locate IVALSA/CNR. The most convenient airport is Verona with direct train communication (station Mezzocorona). Optionally you can fly to Venice, Milano, Innsbruck or Munich. There is a public transportation from these airports available as well.
Accommodation:
IVALSA/CNR is located in the touristic spot and is surrounded by Alps. There is wide range of accommodation options available.
Please consider www.garnilavigna.it or other hotels in San Michele for convenient stay. Alternative could be numerous hotels of different standards in nearby Trento, easily reachable by means of public transportation.
